In the same context, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, through his Instagram account, offered his condolences to the families and friends of the earthquake victims: “I am shocked and saddened by the news regarding the earthquake that occurred last night in Morocco, the country that warmly welcomed us to the Club World Cup at the beginning of the year. All the thoughts of the FIFA staff go to those affected, and I also offer my sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the victims.”
