RABAT- Morocco has become a hub of African football and plays a major role in the development of football on the continent. To share its experience and better exchange with African officials for a better performance of the continent, the Cherifian kingdom hosted a high-level meeting this Thursday in Rabat.
It is under the theme “Morocco within its continent: a South-South partnership, win-win, acting and united: Football factor of integration and global visibility of the Continent.” that this sharing panel took place. It brought together officials of federations, personalities, former ministers and former African footballers such as the Senegalese Elhadji Diouf, the Cameroonian Alexandre Song, the Togolese Emmanuel Adebayor, or the Ghanaian Assamoah Gyan.
The objective is to exchange questions for a better approach between African countries which for the most part have Morocco as a development model, which nowadays constitutes an essential destination for several national teams and even major European clubs.
This meeting was welcomed by all the participants who praised Morocco’s efforts and constant involvement for better visibility and unconditional aid to the many federations, particularly in the context of training.
