According to a joint statement from the Ministries of the Interior and of Health, Morocco is struggling to the exclusion of the most affected areas
It is now official. Zone 1 is enlarged. Only Zone 2 remains in Tangier, Asilah, Larache, Kénitra and Marrakech. These areas will have to remain confined, since foci of Covid-19 contamination have been reported there.
As part of the 2nd phase of the containment relief plan, these decisions come into force on Wednesday June 24 at midnight.
As a reminder, deconfinement does not exempt the inhabitants concerned from the strictest respect for barrier measures and those of prevention. Wearing a mask, for example, remains mandatory.
