The execution of the finance law (LF) at the end of June 2020 shows a negative budget balance of 28.8 billion dirhams (MMDH), according to the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Administrative Reform .
This deficit results from ordinary resources (excluding loan receipts) of 203.1 billion dirhams and expenses (excluding amortization of the debt) of 231.8 billion dirhams, specifies the ministry in its quarterly report on the execution of the finance law. .
Taking into account loan receipts of MAD 53.4 billion and debt repayments of MAD 30.4 billion, the execution of the finance law generates an excess of expenses over resources of MAD 5.8 billion, specifies the same. source.
The report also shows that the total resources of the State during the first half of 2020 reached 256.5 billion dirhams, i.e. an achievement rate of 56.2% of the forecasts of the finance law, noting that the arrears of reimbursement of VAT and corporate tax refund requests were respectively 41.2 billion dirhams and 4.1 billion dirhams at the end of December 2019.
In addition, the total charges of the State reached 262.3 billion dirhams, that is to say an achievement rate of 52.6% of the forecasts of the finance law.
