Morocco emerges from the World Cup with its head held high

The Moroccan soccer team lost to reigning champions France by 2 goals to 0 in the semi-finals of the World Cup in Qatar tonight.

Surprised from the beginning of the match (5′ minute – Théo Hernandez), the Moroccans take the blow for about twenty minutes before slowly gaining the upper hand over the French. Moroccan counterattacks and attacks unfortunately failed to reach Lloris’ goals.

At the start of the second half, the Moroccan team believed in it and largely dominated the 20 minutes before slowing pace and pace under the pressure of the French and the newcomers but also the fatigue of the Atlas Lions. The doubling (79′ – Muani) does not extinguish the hopes of the Moroccans who maintain a constant rhythm until the final whistle.

Special mention also this evening to Ounahi, Hakimi, Ziyech and Amrabat.

See you on Saturday at 4pm for the small final against Croatia.
