The Moroccan Embassy in China also reported that the Kingdom had lifted all the restrictions it had imposed on the entry of expatriates from China into Morocco, starting on Wednesday, April 05, 2023, at a time when the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not issue any communication in this regard.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans residing abroad had announced the closure of borders to those coming from China, in order to avoid a new wave of Corona infection and its repercussions.
The decision to ban entry to all travelers coming from China entered into force on Tuesday, January 03, 2023.
It is noteworthy that Morocco had imposed restrictions on all arrivals from China, of all nationalities, as they were prevented from entering the national territory except after spending a week in a country free of the Corona virus.
