The European proposal sets several epidemiological criteria for a country to be on the admitted list, in particular a rate of new cases of Covid-19 close to or below 16 per 100,000 inhabitants (average in the EU) over the last 14 days .
The list will be reviewed every two weeks. It remains to be seen whether Africa will imitate the attitude adopted by Europe towards China by demanding reciprocity.
