Mormon Locusts in Nevada: A Threat to Livestock and Road Safety

These Mormon locusts, also called Mormon grasshoppers, regularly reappear in Nevada and other US states. In the spring, they usually begin a great migration every four to six years. According to an entomologist, interviewed by the KSL TV channelthe last infestation was in 2019 in Nevada.
