The Washington Capitals can be seen twice next weekend. Sky commentator Christoph Stadtler welcomes viewers to Sky Sport 2 on Saturday from 8:00 p.m. at the particularly attractive broadcasting time, when the residents of the capital make a guest appearance with the New York Islanders.
The next day it’s time for the duel with the Vancouver Canucks, which Olivier Zwartyes will comment on live from 8 p.m. on Sunday and also on Sky Sport 2.
The game between the Buffalo Sabers and the Philadelphia Flyers follows on Monday at 7 p.m. on Sky Sport 1.
In total, Sky will broadcast 20 NHL games live over the next 14 days. However, due to corona, there may be short-term changes in the NHL schedule.
Up to and including 2024/25, Sky will broadcast around 300 games per season live. As a result, Sky will be able to offer its customers more NHL matches than have ever been shown on German television.
Fans who have missed the live broadcasts or want to watch more NHL ice hockey beyond individual games in full length will also have the opportunity to do so on Sky in the future. After each night of live transmission, Sky usually shows the best game of the night in full length at the fixed transmission time of 7 a.m. with a time delay.
