MEXICO CITY.- The Moreno deputy Sandra Nelly Cadena Santos, identified with the political group of Morena’s parliamentary coordinator, Ignacio Mier, was arrested yesterday in Tecamachalco, Puebla, in possession of firearms.
The Puebla State Prosecutor’s Office reported that the local alternate legislator in the 15th district of the entity was arrested at her home along with her husband Jesús Portilla “in possession of long and short firearms, as well as grenades for the exclusive use of the Army.”
Jesús Portilla is a former federal police officer fired from the corporation for irregularities and has been linked to human trafficking and drug dealing.
