The Parliamentary Group of Morena in the Chamber of Deputies, delivered this Tuesday a donation of 500 thousand pesos to the Mexican Red Cross; “I want to thank my fellow deputies and deputies who did not “bargain” at any time when donating, thank you for your gesture of humanism!” Said the coordinator of Morena in the Lower House, Ignacio Mier.
The coordinator of Morena in the Chamber of Deputies assured that his Parliamentary Group is supportive by having a humanitarian gesture on the part of the deputies to channel resources to those who need it most; “Humanism unites us with the Red Cross, we have to be sensitive when supporting the collections because we don’t know when we may need the Red Cross”.
Carlos Freaner, president of the National Council of Directors of the Mexican Red Cross, thanked the Morenista legislators for their support by contributing their donation, for which he named Ignacio Mier, honorary collector.
Every year the Mexican Red Cross collects through voluntary contributions from public administrations, federal entities and the Mexican population, the objective of which is to provide health services, as well as in situations of vulnerability.
It cares for people or communities affected by natural disasters, health problems, illnesses and injuries from accidents, as well as the phenomena of migration and social exclusion.
