Jorge Pina Barrios, migrant Morelense, died after being run over in the New York City subway; Her family requests the support of the Mexican consular authorities in the United States for the repatriation of her body.
The tragic accident in which Jorge, originally from Cuernavaca, lost his life took place on December 8, when headed for the first day of worknear Mytle and Broadway avenues.
The 38-year-old from Morel left in search of opportunities to give away a better life for his children and wifehe had about eight months from arriving in New York, the job he was going to would be his second.

An hour after I reported him missing, the authorities informed me that Jorge was dead.
He added: “Jorge died at the subway station and so far they have not told me the cause of the accident, first they said that they would request video from the station’s cameras but apparently it is not there”.
Jorge is survived by two children, a 7-year-old and a 3-month-old.
Laura Margarita, who also lives in the United States, has asked the Mexican consular authorities and the federation to launch an investigation.
“We ask for a thorough investigation, we want to know how the events in which Jorge died unfolded,” he said.
The International Confederation of Morelenses and Mexican Migrants said it had already taken steps with the Morelos government and the SRE to repatriate Jorge’s remains to Cuernavaca.
