What’s good about this smart TV?
This TV’s QLED panel is superior to a traditional LED screen for one simple reason. LEDs are light-emitting diodes (hence the acronym in English), but the “Q” in front indicates the addition of quantum dots to this technology. In other words, with these quantum dots the TV is able to offer a wider color range and improvements in overall image quality.
These dots are semiconductor nanocrystals that emit light in specific colors when they are stimulated by a light source. In QLED, quantum dots are used to enhance color reproduction.
To understand it in practice, just compare it with a normal LED screen and see that they make a lot of difference. QLED TVs generally offer high brightness, which is great, for example, to avoid screen reflections when watching them in well-lit environments.
4K technology refers to a screen resolution that has approximately 4,000 pixels in the horizontal dimension, resulting in a total resolution of approximately 3840 x 2160 pixels. In practice, this means a much sharper image — in fact, about four times sharper than a simple Full HD TV, whose resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels.
You will be able to see more details in images and smoother lines, making the visual experience more immersive.
