More than two million cases of corona in Argentina, today, Thursday, February 11, 2021 6:58 am
The Argentine Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Coronavirus in the Latin American country, on Wednesday, crossed the threshold of two million, while the number of deaths resulting from the pandemic approached 50 thousand deaths.

The ministry said that during the past twenty-four hours, it had counted 7739 new cases of the virus, bringing the total to two million, one thousand and 17 infected people.
She added that the virus has claimed 109 lives in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total death toll from it to 49,674 deaths.
And Argentina, with a population of 44 million, currently has 3,561 patients with Covid-19 who are receiving treatment in intensive care departments in the country’s hospitals, at an occupancy rate of more than 54 percent of the total capacity of these departments.
The vaccination campaign against the Corona virus began in Argentina on December 29 and includes, in its first stage, medical staff and the elderly over the age of 70 years.
The vaccination campaign is carried out using one vaccine, the Russian “Sputnik-V”, from which Argentina has so far received three shipments, containing a combined 820 thousand doses.
