In 2021, almost 588,000 passengers traveled through Weeze Airport. That is more than twice as many as in 2020 and almost half of the pre-Corona year 2019, as “RP Online” reported. For 2022, the airport boss Sebastian Papst expects to be able to reach 80 percent of the pre-crisis level.
