More than four thousand bags of contaminated food were seized by the FAES in Guacara

Officials of the Special Actions Forces (FAES) of the Bolivarian National Police command, seized more than 4,000 bags of food in an advanced state of decomposition, ready to be marketed.

Ten people were apprehended in the operation carried out this weekend in a shed located in the Yagua parish, El Cabrito sector, in the Guacara de Carabobo municipality, which was used as a workshop and oil change.

The alleged workshop was used as warehouse warehouse to store food bags from the basic basket, without having any type of Commercial Registry, or any other type of legal permission or invoices for the seized food.

The modus operandi consisted of selecting food that was in poor condition, with coquito and weevils, fumigated with a chemical or poison, and once it took effect, it was packaged and labeled for sale.

The detainees were identified as: Luis Páez, Juan Hereida, Hercides Gonzáles, Piedra Anderson, Ángel Luzon, José Sánchez, Joel Chourio, Robert Lugo, César Páez and Elian Bolívar.

Among the evidence seized from the site were:

Seventy-two (72) pallets containing sixty (60) bags of products from the basic basket each, for a total of four thousand three hundred twenty (4,320) bags of food, which are in an apparent state of decomposition.

Four (04) gandolas type vehicles: white color, Iveco brand, model: Stralis, Plate: A82AJ8B, White color, Iveco brand, Stralis model plate: A39AA4V, white color, Iveco brand, Stralis model, plate: 20CKAR, white color, Iveco brand, Stralis model, plate: WITHOUT PLATES, with a pan made in Spain, plate 25JPAG.

Also, one (01) 12 gauge shotgun with no apparent make or model serial 8617, one (01) 12 gauge shotgun mark Harrinton serial HE321520, one (01) Diana brand 7128523 pneumatic shotgun, ten (10) 12 gauge Chedite cartridges. In addition to sevens (07) cell phones.

The alleged scammers will be brought to order and charged with economic crimes before the 6th Prosecutor of Carabobo; while the presentation audience is expected for this Monday.
