The Eurovision Song Contest was from 17 to 22 May. During the nine shows (six rehearsals, two semi-finals and the final), 3,500 people were allowed to attend each time. This was done under certain conditions: the visitors had to be able to show a negative test certificate of no more than 24 hours old. The public had a fixed place and had to stay.
