The Documentation of the Collection of the Museum of Modern Art is the fifth art bibliographic project sponsored by Excel.
Composed of more than 1,500 works, it is part of what you will appreciate in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, presented thanks to Excel, an investment banking group and the Ministry of Culture.
It is considered the most important public heritage of the visual arts in the country, covering more than a century of sculpture, painting, drawing, engraving, ceramics and photography.
The research, which began in 2018, was led by the team at the Museum of Modern Art, and consists of 1,553 works of art from the years 1896 to 2019.
It has essays by art historians and critics such as Eugenio Pérez Montás, Laura Gil Fiallo, Abil Peralta Agüero, Myrna Guerrero, Plinio Chahín, Odalís G. Pérez, Delia Blanco and Marianne de Tolentino ..
