On Tuesday, the City of Oslo opened so that anyone who wants can register for a vaccine. Tens of thousands of Oslo people have, among other things, answered whether they can be available at 30 minutes’ notice if others do not show up for their class.
– This does not mean that you get to sneak into the queue. A 30-year-old does not receive the vaccine that a 65-year-old should have. We call next on the list in the same group, says communications consultant Kjartan Sverdrup in the Health Service.
During the day, the number of registrations exploded. By morning, 3400 had registered. Later in the day, the number was 25,000 and by 16:30, 37,000 had registered.
– A little over 20.30 tonight, the number was 65,000 people, so there is great interest in this and everyone is willing to contribute. I think everyone is looking forward to the vaccine coming now, said health councilor Robert Steen TV 2 Tuesday night.
From before, all Oslo people over 75 have been offered to register in this way. As the digital solution was already ready, one no longer saw any reason to wait to let the rest register, Sverdrup says. In some places, people under the age of 65 are now vaccinated. FHI said on Tuesday that everyone over 18 will receive the first dose by mid-July.
Oslo council informs that the registration helps to ensure that you have the correct information about those who want to be vaccinated, and that the summons becomes more effective.
If you do not fill out the form, you are not in danger of losing your place or missing a vaccine.
