More than 412,000 Salvadorans receive third dose of covid vaccine

San Salvador, Oct 30 (EFE) .- More than 412,000 Salvadorans have received the third dose of the covid-19 vaccine, as well as 60 foreigners, information from the authorities of the Ministry of Health consulted this Saturday by Efe.

According to the website where the only public data on the pandemic in El Salvador is recorded, covid19.gob.sv, 412,754 Salvadorans were vaccinated for the third time against the coronavirus.

In total, the Central American country has inoculated 8,516,654 vaccines, of which 4,308,437 correspond to the first dose and 3,789,392 to a second.

To these two data are added the 6,071 vaccinations given to foreigners living in the country or tourists.

MORE THAN 3,600 DECEASED

Official figures indicate that the number of deaths, at least until October 29, from covid-19 reached 3,622 with the 9 deaths registered on Friday.

There are 113,422 cases of covid-19 confirmed with an official test in the country, of which 14,820 are active, 3,622 died and 94,980 recovered, while suspected cases are located at 15,899. EFE
