Since the start of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, more than 400 residence permits have been issued to Ukrainians by the Rhône prefecture.

Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, several million Ukrainians had to leave their country. In the Rhône, 400 residence permits were issued to them by the Prefecture. But that’s not all. Thus, Pascal Mailhos, the prefect, announced the strengthening of this system. From Monday, the reception center for temporary protection will open its doors in Villeurbanne.

The establishment will also mobilize translators. The center will be at 22 rue Decomberousse. It will be open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last entry at 3:30 p.m.).
