More than 40 grenades from the First World War were found in the Baranovichi region | Incidents

For several days, the operational duty service of the Baranovichi District Department of Internal Affairs received reports that objects resembling shells had been found near several villages in the region.

According to BELTA with reference to the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, police officers and pyrotechnic teams from military units 7404 and 33933 went to the scene of incidents.

According to experts, in the first case, two 45-mm artillery shells from the Great Patriotic War were found.

The second find was an F-1 grenade from the Great Patriotic War. The third time they found 42 K-15 grenades from the First World War.

The servicemen searched the area and did not find any other ammunition. The sappers destroyed all the shells found.
