More than 40 German companies come to Dong Nai looking for investment opportunities – Vietnam.vn

At the meeting that gave information to German companies, Mr. Vo Van Phi, deputy chairman of the Dong Nai Regional People’s Committee, said that German companies currently have 12 projects investing in Dong Nai with the investment capital to h – high.

German companies investing and doing business in Dong Nai are efficient and comply well with legal regulations on investment, environment, construction, labor, etc., thus contributing greatly to local economic development .

The Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Regional People’s Committee said that Long Thanh International Airport in Dong Nai will be completed by 2026 and implemented in Phase 1. At this stage, Dong Nai Province will have all means of transportation, including road, air, rail and inland waterway, to increase the investment attractiveness of the area.

When the infrastructure was completed, Mr. Alexander Ziehe, Chairman of the Association of German Companies in Vietnam, said that Dong Nai is an attractive destination for German investors because of its easy access to major seaports and airports and infrastructure development.

This is evident because the province has attracted several outstanding projects from German companies in the past year, such as the Ziehl-Abegg Vietnam Co., Ltd. project. in the Nhon Trach area; Vietnam Pearl Factory Project in Long Thanh District.

In addition, several German companies are investing in Dong Nai, including Bosch, Schaeffler, Bayer, Neumann Group, Friwo, Framas … and are expanding their investments.

“I am very impressed by the open and professional environment that Dong Nai is building for the world of foreign business, including German companies,” said Mr. Alexander Ziehe.

However, at the meeting, some German companies investing in Dong Nai expressed that they had difficulties and problems in administrative procedures related to land; congestion in port areas and industrial parks, causing delays in freight transport; Companies have difficulties in obtaining visas and licenses for experts and executives.

The main representative of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam, Peter Kompalla, addressed some of the difficult problems that German companies face when investing in Dong Nai.

German companies proposed to the Dong Nai Regional People’s Committee to simplify administrative processes and shorten the process for environmental permits and work permits. Businesses also suggested that Dong Nai consider tax breaks for companies that expand or reinvest.

Mr. Vo Van Phi, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, received comments from German companies and asked the departments, branches, tax department and customs department to record and solve problems, problems, suggestions and recommendations of companies and overcome on them. to improve the province’s investment environment.
