More than 3,000 are currently working with Call of Duty, Activision reveals

31 percent of Activision Blizzard’s workforce works with one and the same series: Call of Duty. That is just under a third of the total workforce, and as many as 3,000 souls. These are numbers that come directly from the main source. Activision writes in its annual report for 2021:

We are working on the most ambitious plan in Call of Duty history, with over 3,000 people now working on the franchise and a return to the Modern Warfare setting.

It is confirmed that the total figure for the number of employees was around 9,800 at the turn of the year, and this applies to both full-time and part-time employees. The largest workforce is in place in North America: 68 percent.

Maybe you have not yet reached the ceiling as Activision in this is now working on “the most ambitious Call of Duty plan in history”. Exactly what it means in practice, we will learn to be aware of in the coming years.
