NEW YORK – Hundreds of people dressed as Santa Claus skied down a mountain in Maine as part of a charity event.
About 300 Santas, all dressed in red, with their hoods and white beards, descended a mountain at the Sunday River Ski Resort in Newry, Maine.
The Christmas decorations in the Vatican will remain until January 8.
Also among them were a Grinch Christmas tree and a skier.
It hadn’t actually snowed in the area but the town used a snow machine, for the annual tradition called “Santa Sunday”. This year the event raised $7,500 for a local charity.
