More than 300 injected in nightclubs in Europe

The syringes do not contain drugs or any other substance

The victims are mostly women

More than 300 people in France have said they have been stabbed in nightclubs or concerts in recent months without authorities being able to confirm what it is, Sky News reported.

Although doctors and many prosecutors are working on the case, no one knows who the perpetrators are, what their motives may be, or whether the victims were injected with drugs – or any substance at all, according to a report on British television.

People from Paris, Toulouse, Nantes, Nancy, Rennes and other cities in France report being stabbed without their knowledge or permission.

The targets of these strange attacks are mostly women who show visible signs of injection, often bruising and report symptoms such as feeling tired.

Club owners and police are trying to raise awareness, and a French rapper recently even interrupted his concert to warn concertgoers of the risk of sudden needle attacks.
The UK government is investigating a series of “needle pricks”, and police in Belgium and the Netherlands are also investigating reports of similar cases.

French police say 302 people have filed formal complaints about needle pricking.
Several police investigations are under way in different regions, but there are still no suspects, no needle has been found and the motive remains unclear.

In the United Kingdom, parliament issued a report in April on needle pricks in bars and nightclubs following a reported jump in similar incidents last year, according to Sky News.

According to the report, police received data on about 1,000 cases of needle injections across the country around October 2021, when students returned to universities after easing restrictions on COVID-19.
