More than 300 dogs competed for the title of champion of the Russian Canine Federation | OTV

The fluffies don’t have time to sort things out; putting on a show and showing off in the ring is the main task. Preparation for dogs’ finest hour begins a few hours in advance. However, everything is the same as with you and me, dear women. For example, Diva was first washed, then dried, and started styling. To create such beauty it took three combs, a special spray and varnish. The diva will have to compete with five more beauties, but the mood here is serious. Appearance in static and movement, and, of course, the dog’s temperament – these are the main criteria for assessing experts. Breed alone is not enough in the fight for the championship.

“Sometimes, when a dog is even the brightest representative of the breed, but, alas, is not prepared for an exhibition, cannot show its potential, in such a situation we are forced to give first place to other hands,” expert of the Russian Canine Federation Lilia Khamitova.

Before entering the ring, the owners of the titled fluffies worry no less than their pets. To increase their chances of winning, many come to competitions with professional handlers.

“In any case, there should always be a professional handler who knows how to show the dog advantageously, how to present it beautifully, all the best features. Every professional athlete has a personal trainer. Only here he still helps in the ring,” – owner of the winner Polina Sokolova.

The fluffies who became champions in Nizhny Tagil will now be able to compete for the title of best at international dog shows. Although for their owners they are the best.
