More than 260 lawsuits against corona restrictions in the north

Schleswig (dpa / lno) – Against the Corona rules, further lawsuits are being filed with Schleswig-Holstein’s administrative courts. Since the beginning of the pandemic as of January 25, there have been 170 urgent corona-related proceedings at the administrative court, as a court spokeswoman for the German Press Agency said. In 2020, the court rejected 103 of 165 requests.

Twelve applications were successful last year. In May, the administrative court ruled that a tattoo parlor should not be prohibited from tattooing outside the face area. The other procedures were dealt with elsewhere, were relegated due to responsibility or not concluded in 2020. Insofar as complaints in the main proceedings have not been withdrawn or referred, this has not yet been decided, according to the court.

The Higher Administrative Court (OVG) decided in connection with the pandemic on 92 first-instance standards control urgent proceedings. Two applications were successful there: The OVG decided in April that the outlet center in Neumünster could reopen. In October, the judges overturned the so-called ban on tourists from Corona hotspots.
