In the period from 21 to 27 October, an average of 15,847 new corona cases were added daily in our country, an increase of 31% compared to the seven days before. Since the outbreak began, 412,314 people have already tested positive.
During the same period, an average of 90.9 patients died from the coronavirus (+53), bringing the total number of deaths to 11,452.
In addition, an average of more than 636 corona patients had to be hospitalized daily from 24 to 30 October, an increase of 59%. In the hospitals, a total of 6,438 beds are currently occupied by people with Covid-19. Of these, 1,105 are in intensive care.
The positivity ratio, the number of people who test positive in relation to the total number of tests, is now 26.9%.
