The Manpower Ministry in Indonesia has received over 2,280 complaints about Eid al-Fitr allowance (THR) payments, according to ministry secretary general Anwar Sanusi. The complaints, from 1,529 companies, related to 1,144 alleged failures to pay, 754 payments that did not comply with regulations and 385 cases of late payment. Of the complaints, 276 led to follow-up inspections, with one receiving the first inspection note and two placed in the recommendation category. Jakarta received the largest number of complaints, at 703, followed by West Java with 457.
