More than 200 runners expected in Nogent-le-Rotrou for the return of the Nojambée

After a year and a half without a race in the department, they have followed one another since September to the delight of the runners. After the Chartres half-marathon, the Pass’Trail in Saint-Luperce, and three weeks from the Foulées de la Cathédrale, La Nojambée is back tomorrow morning.

Organized by AS Nogent-le-Rotrou, the event offers two distances: a 5.5 km and a 10.1 km. This 9th edition will also be the occasion to inaugurate a new route, half-nature, half-town, without the Saint-Jean coast which allows access to the castle by the Galaisière.

A more rolling course

A new route that wants to be more accessible. “The Nojambée is a popular event, open to all runners. This “climb” of the castle could scare some competitors, ”specifies Thierry Even, member of the club’s board of directors. A change that charmed more than 200 pre-registered competitors online. Among them, we note the presence of Saïd Lazaar, winner of the last edition in 2019.

For all these runners, the appointment is given tomorrow morning at the Saint-Jean stadium.

Practice. Start of the 5.5 km at 9 a.m. Start of the 10.1 km at 9.45 a.m. Registration, online only, on klikego.com
