The Dutch customs authorities shared this photo on Thursday, which shows how drugs are processed in frozen fish. This after more than 200 kilos of cocaine was intercepted during a check on Thursday afternoon at the Dutch airport Schiphol.
The drugs were hidden in a shipment of frozen fish. It is not clear from which country the cargo originated. The perishable stuff has been seized and destroyed, customs said.
In April this year, 440 kg of cocaine was also found in various refrigerated containers loaded with frozen fish. They were from Ecuador at the time. In the past, drugs have also been intercepted in fish from Suriname.
