More than 200 families affected by Covid-19 will attend the Day of Prayer convened by the diocese | BE Ciudad Real

Preparations are finalized in the cathedral for the day of prayer organized by the diocese of Ciudad Real for those who died as a result of Covid-19, which will be joined by almost 400 people. Solidarity fund of 187,000 euros

The liturgy will pray in a special way for the elderly, the social group hardest hit by the disease and staff in the residences, with the hope that solutions to the social and economic crisis caused by the pandemic and confinement will soon be addressed.
To serve those most in need as a result of the pandemic, priests, faithful and brotherhoods have achieved a solidarity fund of 187,000 euros to be donated by Diocesan Caritas.

For the occasion, the Diocesan Choir which is composed of young people from all the towns of the province and that they usually accompany in the important celebrations of the diocese.

The act will end with a final prayer to Santa María del Prado praying for the end of the pandemic.
