Government forces of Burkina Faso have killed more than 20 militants in the north of the country in the last 24 hours. SIA reports that the Communication and Public Relations Department of the Burkina Faso Army released information about this.
“The operation was carried out in Kosuka and Timnaore settlements. Militia groups and volunteers supported the formations,” it was stated in the information.
There are also reports that the government forces of Burkina Faso and Niger are conducting a joint operation in the border regions of both countries. According to the information of Burkina state television channel RTB TV, a group of militants tried to enter Burkina Faso on motorcycles from Niger and some of them were destroyed.
