NEW YORK – Thousands of New Yorkers turned out to vote during the first two days of early voting, the first in New York’s history during a presidential election.
The New York City Board of Elections (BOE) announced that more than 190,000 New Yorkers exercised their right to vote on Saturday and Sunday during the first two days of early voting.
The Board announced that, in total, during the two days, 193,915 people voted in New York City: 40,838 in New York, 30,484 in the Bronx, 40,278 in Queens, 61,315 in Brooklyn and 21,000 in Staten Island.
