“We have already managed to liberate more than 1,800 Ukrainian towns and villages from the occupier. And I thank all the countries that help us defeat Russian tyranny right on the battlefield,” Zelensky said.
“Today, Ukrainian soldiers demonstrate that greatness does not depend on the size of the country, or on missile reserves, or on someone’s ability to force something. Greatness comes from the strength of spirit of people who defend their homes, defend the freedom of own people.”
“Ukrainian soldiers drove the occupiers out of the suburbs of Kiev. It was the first turning point in the full-scale war, which showed the strength of our resistance,” the president stressed.
He recalled that Ukrainian soldiers liberated Snake Island, and “since then every occupier knows the only answer he will hear from Ukrainians to all his wishes.”
“It showed that nothing will stop Ukraine. The number of flagships in the Black Sea has decreased slightly, but a notorious bridge is increasingly being used for departures rather than arrivals, if there is traffic on it.”
“He showed what the future will be: it will be Ukrainian,” the president stressed.
He also noted that the active action of the Ukrainian Defense and Security Forces in the Kharkiv region has turned many pages of history.
“Perhaps even the Russian army did not know that it was capable of fleeing so quickly, fleeing, leaving behind its positions, weapons, soldiers and collaborators. The occupiers fled, although they had the superiority in this direction in terms in armaments, equipment and number of soldiers, but our soldiers had and there is another great superiority, a much more significant superiority – in determination, superiority in strength of their land, which is under their feet,” he said the president of Ukraine.
