More than 170 fighters from “Wagner” private military company were transferred to “Akhmat” special forces units.
IS citing foreign sources, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov informed about this on Sunday, October 29.
… “Wagner” fighters signed a contract before and joined our team. But now we are still talking about a massive increase in personnel. I am sure that other former representatives of “Wagner” will follow this example and join the ranks of “Akhmat” special forces.
Saying this, Kadyrov did not hide that he was happy with such decisions of “Wagner” fighters.
On the Telegram channel, he called “such a kind family” to participate in a special operation.
Kadyrov said that the fighters of the elite OMON unit “Akhmat-1” went to the special operation zone. He clarified that the unit will carry out the assigned tasks under the leadership of combat officer Alikhan Shavkhalov.
According to Russian websites, at the beginning of autumn, the commander of the ground troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Alexander Syrsky, reported on the difficult situation in the eastern sector of the front.
