Libreville, Monday November 27, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – The credit obtained by the Head of State, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, from Ecobank will also make it possible to support Public Works subsidies and finance several road projects.
A breath of fresh air for companies in the public works sector with the good news coming from the Presidency of the Republic. Indeed, the Head of State has just obtained significant support which will enable them to boost their activities in the coming days. Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema has just obtained a loan amounting to 158.5 billion F from Ecobank. At a preferential rate, this credit is intended for the payment of the debt owed by the State to companies, for the purchase of materials to equip the subdivisions of the Ministry of Public Works, for the rehabilitation of the National Building and Works Laboratory public authorities of Gabon (LNBTPG) and the financing of the works of several road projects throughout the Gabonese territory.
On instructions from the Head of State, the financing obtained was secured at the Public Treasury and the General Directorate of Debt, contrary to an old tradition which would have it placed at the Libreville Club. But, the beneficiary structures with the CNSS, CNAMGS, customs and taxes should pay their contributions. Otherwise, samples would be taken automatically at source. A personal commitment from the President of the Republic who, through this gesture, wishes to reassure Gabonese economic operators of his desire to get the national economy back on track.
