More than 15 million players participate in Fortnite Galactus event

The Fortnite Galactus Event that took place last night has been viewed by more than 15 million players, Fortnite developer Epic Games announced on Twitter. The event concluded Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4.

The Galactus event was the largest event to date, both in-game and in ratings. Not only did 15.3 million players participate in the in-game event, 3.4 million players watched live on Twitch and YouTube.

During the event, players had to defeat the Marvel Villain Galactus. A successful attempt resulted in a timer that counted down to Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5, which goes live at 06:00 GMT.
