The general direction of the public Saude of the Xunta de Galicia reports that as of this Friday, October 14, a total of 136,000 adults over the age of 60 have already received the fourth dose of the covid-19 vaccine in Galicia.
In a disaggregated manner, the coronavirus booster dose has been administered in large vaccination centers to approximately 116,000 people since vaccination began in these areas on October 7. To this figure must therefore be added the more than 20,000 users of the health and social centers vaccinated at the beginning of the campaign.
According to the schedule prepared by the Department of Health, next Monday, October 17, the vaccination of the age group between 80 and 84 years will end and, next week, appointments will begin in the primary care centers of Capo, at all. those people over the age of 85 who had not received the booster dose of covid-19, in accordance with the provisions of the Vaccination Plan of the Xunta de Galicia. In addition, Health began this Friday to vaccinate the population between the ages of 70 and 79.

As for the flu vaccination of people over the age of 60, a percentage close to 96% accepted the joint administration of the flu vaccine and covid-19. As for the 70,000 minors, aged between 6 and 59 months, who make up the target child population, 1,200 boys and girls were vaccinated against influenza in the first three days of the campaign.
