More than 100,000 players ran 5km during Pokémon GO Community Day

Last Saturday during Pokémon GO Community Day, Niantic had an extra promotion to make the world a little better. For every 5km walked by players, it would plant a tree. This was with a maximum of 100,000 trees and this maximum has been achieved. More than 100,000 players have covered the distance.
