One-time financial assistance is provided regardless of family income. The amount of assistance is 129.9 rubles. for every child in the family. Financial support for preparing for school is also provided in the form of one-time or monthly social benefits within the framework of the state’s targeted social support. The amount of payments is determined by regional commissions in each individual case, based on family income and specific life circumstances. Almost 1.7 thousand families with 4.8 thousand children (3.9 million rubles) have already received such support.
Parents of school children can also receive support in their workplace at the expense of trade union organizations or employers. 16.8 thousand families with 30.9 thousand children received such support (more than 3.3 million rubles).
In addition, across the country charity events and fairs are organized by territorial social service centers, charitable foundations and public associations, and religious organizations, the purpose of which is also to support families with children. This type of support was given to 4.2 thousand families per 10 thousand children (245.3 thousand rubles).
In total, various types of assistance to families to prepare children for the school year amounted to 33.6 million rubles. Work to support the school continues.
