The Argentine Ministry of Health announced the registration of a record number of new infections with the Coronavirus, as it exceeded 10 thousand cases, for the first time since the outbreak of the epidemic.
The ministry indicated, according to the “Russia Today” satellite channel, that it had recorded 10,550 new cases of corona on Wednesday, bringing the total number of injuries in the country to 370,188.
The ministry report added that 276 new deaths from the Coronavirus were also recorded during the last day, bringing the death toll to 7,839 people.
And the government of President Alberto Fernandez announced the extension of the closure measures aimed at preventing the spread of the virus in the capital, Buenos Aires and the surrounding region, until the end of this month, due to the largest number of infections recorded in this particular region.
It is noteworthy that Latin America is the region most affected by the Corona virus epidemic in the world, as it recorded the largest number of infections and deaths, with the second largest global death toll in Brazil and the third largest death toll in Mexico.
