Today, Sony posted a short video to promote the PlayStation 5 that started with the phrase “Welcome to a world of sensations”, therefore, several developers revealed how they take advantage of the haptic technology of the control DualSense in their video games.
Brian Horton, creative director of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, expressed that players can perceive the character’s abilities through the sides of the joystick like, for example, when you hold the square to launch a poison hit “You feel the crackle of Spider-Man’s bioelectricity”.
On the other hand, Mathijs de Jonge of Guerrilla Games, those responsible for Horizon Forbidden West, advanced that Aloy, the protagonist of the game, has new weapons and, consequently, the adaptive triggers of the DualSense they make“Feel even more unique and rewarding to use”.
