The secondary axes were particularly impacted, such as the RD15 towards “Les Balayes” and the Ardèche, or the RD105 between Yssingeaux and Montfaucon-en-Velay. Vehicles were trapped on this road. On the RN88, Sunday morning, traffic was tricky.
Strong gusts of wind
The gusts of wind did nothing to help the situation, especially on the Devès plateau and the Vivarais. They could reach up to 55 km/h in Pradelles and 20 km/h in Yssingeaux, accentuating the burle phenomenon.
According to Météonews, this Monday, we can expect to see a few snowflakes fall again on the department throughout the day with temperatures ranging from – 3°C for Le Puy-en-Velay or Monistrol-sur-Loire and down to -5°C in Yssingeaux.
