In the Indonesian market, Xiaomi is a smartphone manufacturer that is keen to produce new devices. As we all know, at the beginning of November 2021, Xiaomi again made a surprise in the Indonesian market by introducing its newest smartphone, the Xiaomi 11T series.
There are two models launched, namely the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro. Both complement the Xiaomi 11 series, which were already marketed in Indonesia, such as the Xiaomi 11, 11 Lite and 11 Ultra. Coming as a flagship smartphone, of course all these devices are able to attract the attention of gadget fans in the country.
No exception, the Xiaomi 11T which immediately slid to the Droidlime review table after it was officially launched in Indonesia. Yes! Droidlime had the opportunity to dig deeper into this smartphone which is priced at Rp. 6 million. Starting from performance, design to embedded camera support will be dissected honestly.
Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra
On paper, the Xiaomi 11T is included in the flagship smartphone class, aka flagship in 2021. Interestingly, the Xiaomi 11T supports 5G networks. As the driving force, Xiaomi relies on the Dimensity 1200-Ultra chipset from MediaTek.
The MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra has eight cores, consisting of one Cortex A78 ultra-core up to 3 GHz, three Cortex A78 super-cores up to 2.6 GHz, and four Cortex A55 cores up to 2 GHz. This chipset is also integrated with the Mali G77 MC9 GPU. And the Dimensity-1200 Ultra is MediaTek’s highest aka premium chipset to date.
Supported by a premium chipset, Xiaomi 11T should be able to crush heavy games that are currently popularly played by many people, is that right? Droidlime tries to play the game Genshin Impact developed by Mihoyo.
Used to play Genshin Impact for a few minutes, the fps looks pretty stable. Not only that, Droidlime also uses the Xiaomi 11T with the Dimensity 1200-Ultra SoC to play PUBG Mobile games. This game is comfortable to play even with the right “flat” configuration.
Increasingly curious about the performance of the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra that sits nicely inside the Xiaomi 11T body, Droidlme also benchmarks with the AnTuTu application. The resulting score reaches 570 thousand points. With Geekbench 5, the scores are 812 (Single-core) and 2,782 (Multi-core).
Not to forget, Droidlime also tried a “stress test” using the 3DMark application. So from here we can also know that the Dimensity 1200-Ultra is an ideal chipset. Not only is it fast, but it doesn’t overheat and saves battery.
Yes! The test results show that the full load temperature is relatively safe, which is only 47 degrees Celsius, compared to for example its competitors which can reach 55 degrees Celsius. Because this chipset does not easily generate heat, its performance can automatically be stable.
Tested 20 times running graphical test using 3DMark with the Wild Life option got 97.1% stability. Meanwhile, with the Extreme option, its stability reaches 87% with a temperature of 35 to 47 degrees Celsius. This means that the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra can indeed be said to be a stable chipset.
In addition, because this chipset made by MediaTek has high-end performance that is able to keep up with its competitors, such as the Snapdragon 800 Series. However, with energy that can be considered efficient, this greatly affects the battery life that can last longer.
Speaking of power supply, the Xiaomi 11T has been equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery. In testing, the resulting SOT reached 7 hours with more than 15 hours of active use. Of course, that’s a pretty encouraging number for those concerned about battery issues.
In essence, the Xiaomi 11T which has been equipped with a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh can accompany your activities throughout the day, from playing games, surfing the internet and watching movies. If the battery runs out, charging can take place quickly thanks to the 67W charger provided by Xiaomi in the sales package.
