The Hinzert concentration camp is located in the Trier-Saarburg district. A special camp of the SS. People from up to 20 nations have been imprisoned here. Today it is a memorial to German cruelty in World War II. Jewish and Muslim young people have now visited the memorial together – a project that has never before existed in Rhineland-Palatinate.
