Further wage increase for bakery workers due to inflation
In addition, bakery employees will receive a retroactive inflation compensation bonus of 90 euros for June and July. “In May next year, wages in bakeries will rise by another 70 euros for all employees,” said NGG managing director Mura. The bakers’ guild has thus “made jobs in the bakeries in Hamm a good deal more attractive and given the image of the baking trade a major boost,” said the NGG South Westphalia.
