Overall, Münster / Osnabrück Airport will receive (FMO) from the shareholders again ten million euros.
But the grants for the airport are controversial. That is why the Steinfurt district council decided to hold a fundamental political discussion about the further development of the FMO. This also includes alternative usage concepts.
The previous subsidy policy had failed, said a spokesman for the Greens. Dispute over the future of FMO is also available in the city of Münster. Most recently, an alliance of 40 initiatives in the region was founded to encourage the exit from the FMO calls.
