More flights to Leipzig/Halle and Dresden

The summer flight schedule at the two East German airports will also start on Sunday 27 March, valid until 30 October. Since the collapse caused by the pandemic, the number of scheduled flights to domestic German and European destinations has more than doubled in Leipzig/Halle and almost tripled in Dresden. Lufthansa connects Leipzig/Halle Airport up to five or three times a day with the hubs Frankfurt and Munich. From May, Eurowings will fly to Düsseldorf twice a day, from Monday to Friday. Turkish Airlines is also making a comeback and planning daily flights to Istanbul starting in July. Austrian Airlines flies to Vienna from Monday to Friday and on Sundays, and from June also on Saturdays.
Vueling Airlines offers flights to Paris on Mondays and Fridays.

Dresden Airport
KLM is gradually expanding the offer and will fly to Amsterdam every day. Swiss is also increasing its frequency and from May will fly Monday to Friday and Sunday between Dresden and Zurich. Ryanair connects London with the Saxon capital on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Lufthansa flies to its hubs in Frankfurt and Munich up to five or four times a day.
Eurowings connects Dresden with Düsseldorf from Monday to Friday and on Sundays. There are flights to Cologne/Bonn from Monday to Friday and from the end of June on Sundays. Flights to Stuttgart are offered up to twice daily from Monday to Friday.

Ryanair connects Dresden with Palma de Mallorca every day except Tuesdays. Eurowings flies to the Balearic Islands from Monday to Friday and on Sundays. Furthermore, those looking for a holiday can leave Dresden for Antalya, Heraklion, Rhodes, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Burgas, Varna, Hurghada, Fuerteventura, Corfu and Kos.
